One Month Later
I thought I would like writing here where nobody knows me, except James. I followed him over here. But not writing here for one month is symptomatic of my need for validation. I don't get notes here, or comments or any sort of feedback. Is that why I write online? I want perfect strangers to send me random words attached to my ramblings?
Time for some reevaluation here.
I did discover a new photo hosting place with flickr. True, their URLs are much shorter than snapfish and I have been slightly pied off with them lately for their outright snubs of Mac users.
I'm getting a PowerBook one of these days. It's being gifted. The same person who gifted me with this here iMac Dalamatian.
I'm also in a horrid rut and I'm having a hard time getting out from its deepening maw. I know it's all mental, and like mind over matter. If you don't mind, it don't matter. But I do mind, gosh darn it all to heck.
Every picture tells a story, don't it?

I watched an infotainment program on the Westinghouse network (We bring good bombs to life). There was a story about the sexual offender who kidnapped the brother and sister after killing the rest of their family. He eventually killed the brother by the time the sister was found. The infotainment showed his blog here at blogger dot com called the fifth nail. Of course, I read the entire thing. This image came from there. It's better than any ordinary trainwreck blog.
Mr. R was on a tear this morning, so we went to everywhere except HD. The only stop at Costco was for a half tank of gas at the unbelievably low price of $2.27 per gallon. We hardly ever go to Target and yet we were there for a half hour after having stopped at PetSmart and breakfast at the Original Pancake House. Now, we're back home trying to feel human again after being beaten down by the combination of extreme heat and humidity along with the modern retail experience.

A Bit More Downtime
I'm feeling limited by my unlimitability. Where is the list of recent blog activity? Why can't I navigate this site? Is anyone there (besides James)?

Passiflora
Mildred grows the prettiest flowers. I wish my garden were as nice as hers. I love the way she smells so fresh too. Just like this flower. Here today. Gone tomorrow.
Not a boring day, darling. Something happened, sweetie.

Halo scan track back, oh my!
And audio blogging. It truly is a brave new world. I've discovered the future and it's here. I'm becoming split between my original online diary site and this blog thang. I'm not sure about which I like better, but I'm working on liking this. I want to know how to access a page that shows all the notes or comments or whatever. And then I found out about this trackback thing and my heart is so heartbeat. Oh yeah, there's FlickR too because the URLs that Snapfish was generating were too long!
Looking at this photo conjures the image in my mind's eye as I left NYC earlier this year. I'm so glad I went. It seems so long ago.

Multiple choice
Dear James,
Today was a boring. Nothing much. I uploaded a picture for your downloading pleasure. It shall henceforth decorate this day of remembrance.
Yes, it's that day again. April 27. My own personal day of infamy. I only minutes ago commented to Mr. R how it's taken me so many years to go through April 27 as though it were just another day. I'm truly getting wiser as I get older. And yes, I'm so much older than that now.
Tonight, we ate soup for dinner that we made together in near silence. We're thinking a lot these days and I could feel that we were thinking the same thing. Let's just make some soup. We even made dinner for tomorrow at the same time, because the ingredients were there and we were on a psychic jelly roll. Life is so good. I'm very happy while deep down horribly sad. It's my Jewish heritage. It's human nature. Will I ever find true happiness? Sometimes I wonder if the Buddhists haven't got a clue and it's all suffering and that's it. Ha, what a joke.
I choice none of the above. How's by you, eh?
Stand by one moment, an operator will be with you shortly.
